Can you tell us a bit about you, your role and the business?

I’m the founder and designer at Olenka Design, a British independent brand known for folk-inspired colourful wallpaper and fabric designs. As a small business owner I have many roles, from developing new designs to PR and marketing.

Which PR Activities do you do with Press Loft?

I use image library, send press releases, use Studio for Pinterest pins, and I’ve just joined the new Affiliate for WooCommerce.

How is Press Loft helping your company and/or you in your role?

Press Loft has been a huge help with my PR. I’m a designer so not trained to be a PR specialist, I didn’t have a clue how to write a press release or approach journalists. But thanks to this platform I’ve had some amazing press coverage and developed great relationships with journalists. Press coverage helps with brand awareness, credibility, google ranking (backlinks from online press coverage), and sales.

What were you doing before you used Press Loft?

I tried to approach journalists myself without much success. I also tried to find a suitable PR agency but they were all too expensive. I got some good press coverage by exhibiting at trade shows.

What sort of business would you recommend Press Loft to?

It’s such a good platform because it offers flexibility suitable for all budgets. So it’s great for small businesses as well as bigger companies. The platform is good for any homeware and gifts brands.
